Kurt

He is the definition of a hero. He served the community and King County as a police officer for 38 years.  People constantly stopped him wherever he went whether he was on duty or off to ask questions and get support. I've seen people call or show up at our house crying and terrified because everyone knows my dad would help and be a calm person to talk to. He is a patient father, a doting grandfather, and a compassionate, empathetic friend to so many people on Vashon.

Nominated as a hero by Stacy Lysen, Susan Puz, Malia Lysen & Tiffany Post
